How to get a quote?
Call us or email us and let us know a little bit about your painting project. We will typically reply the same day, usually within a couple of hours or sooner. You can send us photos, floorplans, or architectural drawings of the areas you want painted and we can typically send a quote with this information. Or, we can set up a time to come and look at the property in person, hopefully with you present, so we can discuss the project further and have a closer look.

It really depends on the project. We always do our best to finish projects as efficiently as possible so that we do not disturb your space for longer than necessary. Painting can take anywhere from one day (small job) to two weeks (large house or multi family project). Our average interior painting project takes 1-5 days to complete. Our average Exterior Painting project takes 3-7 days to complete.
What type of products do you use?
We usually use the best products you can buy. When we quote the job we work with our suppliers from Dulux, Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams and Cloverdale Paint to find the best product for the job. We believe in using the highest quality products because they stand behind our warranty and make our job easier. Using high end products usually does not add too much of an additional cost to the project and will always save you money in the long run.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. We have $5 million liability insurance and full WCB coverage for all of our workers.
What is your warranty?
Our warranty for exterior works is 3 years. If we made an error during the production process the surface coating will fail within 3 years. We cannot guarantee paint work for any longer period than this due to the unusually high level of rainfall we experience in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Rain and snow are particularly invasive and the vast majority of painted surfaces are wood cladding. These are highly susceptible to water and internal rotting from the underside and edges via gaps, cracks and areas that the paint cannot reach and protect/preserve. There are fewer problems of this nature on interior painting projects but interiors are far more susceptible to wear and tear and movement in the building. As such we offer the same 3 year warranty for our interior work but refer to the paint manufacturers individual warranty for any technical issues that may arise with the paint itself. We will be happy to contact the relevant paint company representatives for any such issues and meditate on your behalf should problems occur.

Do I need to be there when you're painting?
No. Typically we will have worked out all of the information needed prior to beginning the project. We want you to feel comfortable with us on your property and you do not need to be present while we are working. We will let you know when we will be planning on starting and stopping each day. If you'd like, you can always leave us a key or allow us access to areas so you do not need to be coming and going.
At the end of the job, will the final price change from the quote you provided?
Typically this does not happen. We provide a price with a specific scope of work, and the price will not change. Nobody likes surprises and we find pricing transparency is very important. The only way the price can increase is if extra items outside of the original scope of work agreed upon are added. This is usually discussed with you before proceeding and we are transparent about what that will cost. So, no need to worry about mysterious extra charges that you're not expecting.
How much does it cost?
Our minimum charge for any project is $500 + GST
Interior Painting
We almost always need to discuss the details of the job before we can give an exact cost. But, typically our pricing can be broken down into the following sections. These prices include regular preparation, two coats of paint and all paint and supplies needed:
Sq Ft = Floor Sq Ft
Ceilings - $1 per square foot
Walls - $ 2 per square foot
Baseboards, Door frames, Window Sills (Trim) - $1 per square foot
Doors - $50 - $75 per door - depending on what type of door we are painting (both sides)
Costs can increase and decrease depending on the details of the project. Eg. Amount of preparation, more or less than two coats of paint, working outside of regular working hours, difficult access, unique designs and feature walls.
Exterior Painting
We almost always need to discuss the details of the job before we can give an exact cost. If you provide us with your address and a scope of work, we can usually pull up your home on Google maps or Google Earth and give you a rough ball park of what the project is going to cost. We can do this over the phone or via email exchange. For an exterior painting project we almost always will want to come to site to see the current condition and make sure we are able to access all areas of the home safely when we are painting.
How do I choose colours?
Picking colours can be difficult. We like to make it as easy as possible. We always include up to two colours for us to physically sample on your project before we begin so you can actually see the colour up close and personal on your property. Any additional samples cost $25 per sample to cover the cost of materials, but you can choose as many as you'd like.
There are a few ways we can arrive at your colour of choice:
1) You go into a local paint store (any store that sells paint is fine - although we usually recommend Dulux or Benjamin Moore). Choose the colours you'd like us to sample. Email us your selections and we will set up a time to sample them for you.
2) You browse colours online (any store that sells paint is fine - although we usually recommend Dulux or Benjamin Moore). Choose the colours you'd like us to sample. Email us your selections and we will set up a time to sample them for you.

3) If you're having trouble finding colours or want some extra inspiration, we can send an interior designer to work with you hands on and make sure you're choosing colours that will look amazing. Please let us know if this is what you'd like and we will make it happen. This usually costs anywhere from $100 - $300 depending on the size of the project.
