Our clients, a family in Vancouver, wanted to breathe new life into their home. Their goal was to
create an inviting, modern environment that would reflect their personal tastes while providing a cozy,
comfortable space for family gatherings. They approached us to handle a complete interior
makeover, focusing on refreshing the walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinetry.

The Challenge:

The home featured a classic color scheme, and while the structure was in great condition, the
interior was ready for a refresh to better align with the family’s aspirations. Additionally, the
project had a tight timeline and needed to be completed over the holidays to minimize
disruptions to the family’s routine.

Tight Schedule: The clients wanted to start on December 18th, with a deadline to finish over the
holidays, including between Christmas and New Year’s, to meet the two-week deadline.
Extensive Surface Prep: The home required detailed surface preparation, including
drywall repairs, caulking, and sanding to ensure a smooth, flawless finish.
Cabinet Painting: The kitchen cabinets needed a fresh coat of paint, requiring careful
preparation to ensure proper adhesion and a long-lasting finish.
Limited Space: As with most interior projects, working inside the home presented the challenge
of limited space, requiring us to carefully manage our materials and ensure everything was
kept neat and organized, avoiding disruptions to the family’s daily activities.

Our Solution:

With a clear understanding of the client’s needs, we worked closely with them to develop a
detailed, customized plan. Our experienced crew executed this plan efficiently, ensuring minimal
disruption.

✔ Detailed Preparation: We began by protecting floors and furniture with drop sheets, keeping
the home tidy throughout the project. The general contractor assisted with floor protection, while
our team handled the meticulous preparation work—caulking, sanding, and drywall patching to
ensure a flawless finish.
✔ Coordinated Timing: Understanding the holiday timeline, we scheduled our work efficiently,
completing 320 hours of work over two weeks. We used 30 gallons of paint for the walls, 20
gallons for the ceilings, and 15 gallons for the trim.
✔ Premium Products: We used high-quality Benjamin Moore products for stunning results. For
the walls, we applied Regal Eggshell, and the trim and doors were painted with semi-gloss
Advance for a sleek finish. We treated the ceilings with flat white Benjamin Moore Ceiling Paint
for a clean look.
✔ Cabinet Painting: The kitchen cabinets were sanded, cleaned, and primed to ensure optimal
adhesion. Two coats of premium cabinet coating were applied, giving the kitchen a fresh new look
that complemented the home’s overall aesthetic.
✔ Comprehensive Coverage: Our team painted all key areas, including walls, baseboards, crown
molding, ceilings, coffered ceilings, window frames, door casings, interior doors, railings, and pillars.
The result was a beautifully refreshed space.
