This project involved the complete transformation of a modern kitchen in Vancouver. The homeowner
wanted to refresh and elevate the look of their lower kitchen cabinets, achieving a smooth, factorylike finish that would brighten the space and improve durability.

The Challenge:

The kitchen’s lower cabinets were structurally sound but had visible wear and tear from years of use.
The original finish had dulled, with some areas showing light surface damage and buildup from
everyday cooking. The goal was to deliver a flawless, ultra-smooth finish that would match the rest of
the home’s clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Our Solution

✔ Careful Preparation
We began by removing all cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware, transporting the removable pieces to our spray shop. Built-in sections were masked on-site with precision, and drop sheets were placed to protect surrounding areas. All surfaces were sanded and thoroughly degreased.
✔ Premium Priming
One coat of high-quality Benjamin Moore primer was applied to ensure optimal adhesion and a flawless base for the topcoat.
✔ Professional Spraying
Using high-end finish sprayers, we applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Cabinet Coat in a satin finish, both in-shop for removable pieces and on-site for built-ins. This urethane-acrylic formula delivers an ultra-smooth finish while being highly washable and long-lasting.
✔ Meticulous Reinstallation
Once cured, all doors, drawers, and hardware were reinstalled. Final touch-ups were made to ensure every detail met our quality standards.
✔ Clean & Complete
The space was left spotless, with all masking removed, surfaces wiped down, and leftover paint provided for future touch-ups.
